Hypro-Feed ® - 12 metres long x 1.8 metres wide

The Hypro-Feed ® Plate Apron Feeder is suitable for a wide variety of applications where the material is too harsh for any other type of feeder and normally installed to draw material at a regulated rate from a stockpile, storage bin or feed hopper.

The Hypro-Feed ® Plate Apron Feeder is ideally suited for loose bulk wet, clay, sticky or dry material such as ores, sand, gravel, rock, coal, cullet, foundry and industrial refuse. Apron Feeders are recommended for handling materials containing large, heavy or sharp lumps, for installations where they must withstand the impact of heavy materials falling some distance and for receiving and feeding hot materials that may damage other types of feeders.

  • The heavy-duty cast manganese steel overlapping plates of the feeder are bolted to heavy-duty CAT SALT type chains, supported by two rows of heavy-duty CAT support rollers to provide a smooth, quiet, low maintenance delivery system for all applications.

  • The drive section is equipped with a forged alloy steel shaft mounted in heavy-duty bearings, fitted with hubs and easily replaceable drive sprocket segments and preferred single or dual drive units.

  • The mid-section is the mainframe assembly fitted with adjustable pull out support roller assemblies for easy maintenance and replacement and the main return rollers.

  • The tail section assembly comprises a main frame fitted with a forged alloy steel shaft equipped with track idler rollers mounted in heavy duty bearing units complete with tensioning cross beam with cylinders and power pack system.

The Hypro-Feed ® Plate Apron Feeder provides a positive flow of material with either variable speed drives or control of the material bed depth providing an accurate feed rate. Apron Feeders are well suited for applications that require moving a high tonnage of coarse and wet sticky material with impact loads too severe for other types of feeders.

The Hypro-Feed ® Plate Apron Feeder can be supplied to suit many applications and installation requirements either horizontal or inclined.

Reciprocating Feeder

Hypro-Feed ® Hydraulic Reciprocating Feeder in operation

The Hypro-Feed ® Reciprocating Feeder is an ideal solution for primary and secondary feed applications.  Its compact rigid design is robust and suitable for impact loading, direct dump with dump trucks and wheeled loaders and for handling large heavy lump or fine, wet and sticky material, the reciprocating feeder is designed and installed to push material at a regulated rate from a feed hopper, stockpile or storage bin.

The Hypro-Feed ® Reciprocating Feeder is equipped with a heavy-duty top plate with replaceable wear liners, mounted and supported on Cat rollers and the feeder table is operated either hydraulically or mechanically. The main support frame structure is a fully welded design and fitted with tapered roller support brackets for height adjustment and roller replacement.

  • The reciprocating feeder can be used in a wide range of applications including large lump and loose bulk wet, clay, sticky or dry material such as ores, sand, gravel, rock, coal, cullet, foundry and industrial refuse.

  • Fast and slow, vibrating free operating speeds to suit material and application.

  • Installed horizontal or inclined to suit the application.

  • Continuous bed of material on the feeder table for impact protection.

  • Suitable for high volume applications.

The Hypro-Feed ® reciprocating feeder can be supplied to suit many applications and installation requirements either horizontal or inclined.

Application for the VGF Series Grizzly Feeder

The MP VGF Series is widely used for separating and feeding large size ROM material to primary jaw, horizontal shaft and hammer mill crushers in the quarry and mining industry.

Advantages of the VGF Series Grizzly Feeder

  • The high force vibration is created by the combination of dual eccentric gear driven shafts running in heavy duty international roller bearings and adjustable counter weights are fitted to allow the increase and decrease of the stroke.

  • The feed tray is fabricated from high quality steel, wear resistant material bed plate, manganese step adjustable grizzly bars mounted on high grade steel coil springs and vee belt drive by electric motor.

Hypro-Feed ® Vibrating Grizzly Feeder

Vibrating Grizzly Feeder

The Hypro-Feed ® VGF is ideally suited for the application prior to a Primary Crusher, where the double drop bar grizzly section removes a percentage of undersize or contaminated material, increasing throughput and preventing unnecessary wear or overloading of the crusher. Of robust construction to cater for heavy-duty applications, the horizontal pan section is fitted with Hardox steel renewable liners. It is fitted with grizzly bars that are interchangeable and manufactured from high quality abrasion resistant cast steel, being of tapered design and are individually replaceable.

One range of Feeders are powered by two out-of-balance side mounted vibrating motors, each having individual overload protection at a range for both to cut-out should one overload and the other range of feeders are powered with a twin gear-driven shaft vibrating unit fitted and powered directly by hydraulic motor or electrically driven through V-belt drive.

High impact loading shocks associated with run-of-quarry rock absorbed by specially designed low stress springs carrying the feeder, which also provide high degrees of isolation of vibration from the superstructure.

The vibrating motors offer the minimum of moving parts, ease of maintenance and low cost running between periods of servicing – dust proof and weather proof, totally enclosed with no belts, gears or shafts. An electrical variable speed control system is also available.

  • Range of Vibrating Grizzly Feeders with outputs up to 2000 tph.

  • Robust construction to cater for heavy duty applications with horizontal pan section fitted with Hardox steel renewable liners.
