Primary Single Toggle Jaw Crushers
PEV Series Jaw Crusher
The PEV series Jaw Crusher is available in several feed opening sizes to suit various primary crushing applications of hard abrasive rock or recycling material. It is suitable for large and small stationary installations or track and mobile units.
The PEV series single toggle Jaw Crusher is a bolted design equipped with two heavy duty non-welded side frames connected to high quality machined cast steel frames and secured with bolts. A cast steel jaw stock fitted with a heavy-duty eccentric shaft supported by four robust bearings provides suitable cavity dimensions for high performance and design durability against shock loading.
The PEV Jaw Crusher is widely used in many industries including mining, quarrying, construction, cement, demolition, recycling and the chemical industry. An ideal choice for all primary crushing applications with a selection of jaw plate profiles for maximum performance.
Features
-
Deep V shape crushing chamber with maximum feed size capacity and crushing ratio with low abrasion.
-
High quality heavy duty steel cast jawstock assembly, driven by large cast iron flywheel and vee-belt driven motor pulley.
-
An innovative modular, non-welded frame structure and integrated motor assembly reduces stress and is compact.
-
Wedge adjustment system is safe and easier than shim adjustment.
-
Special mounting rubber dampers and buffers decrease shock loads to the support frame and foundation allowing the crusher to move slightly with no need for anchor bolts.

Operational crusher including hydraulic adjustment setting, flywheel guards, integral motor support, feed chute, automatic grease lubrication system and standard electric motor.
Capacities & Technical Specifications
Note: The above figures are based on crushing feed material in broken form with an average specific gravity of 2.7t/m3, constantly fed into the crusher without blocking and with fines removed. The capacities could vary depending on the feed method, graduation and the material characteristics such as density, moisture, clay content and feed material crush-ability.
Measurement of the crusher's closed side setting is variable depending on the jaw profile being used which may impact the crusher's capacity and product graduation. The factors below will ensure the best crusher capacity and performance.
-
Suitable graduation of feed material
-
Adequate feeder size and capacity.
-
Proper selection of jaw plate profiles.
-
Controlable feed rate.
-
Sufficient discharge area and space.
-
Adequate sized discharge conveyor.
Hypro-Crush ® - STJ Series Crusher
Primary Jaw Crusher
The Hypro-Crush STJ Primary Jaw Crusher series is a engineered product manufactured to international standard, designed to provide maximum production and performance, thus yielding high outputs with reliability and economical running costs.
The Hypro-Crush series single toggle jaw crusher has a heavy robust, fabricated, stress-relieved frame with cast or fabricated heavily ribbed steel jaw stock. Both are accurately machined to accept the high tensile steel eccentric shaft.
They are fitted with heavy-duty, double row, self-aligning international standard bearings, thus ensuring perfect alignment with all components when completely assembled to ensure longer life.
Cast manganese steel jaws, down thrust toggle plate and grooves are all machined to ensure accurate seating. The jaws are reversible and interchangeable to obtain maximum wear and are easily replaced. Swing jaw settings are achieved by hydraulic adjustment.
Both flywheels are of solid disc type, cast from high-grade iron, accurately machined and balanced with one flywheel, grooved to accept standard Vee belt drive.

Notes on Crusher Capacities: - The above figures are based on crushing feed material in broken form with an average specific gravity of 2.7t/m3 . Capacities could vary depending on the graduation, feed method, density, moisture, material characteristics and crush-ability.
Capacities at Close Side Settings
Crusher Settings:
The settings are measured with the jaws in a closed position. At coarse settings and low feed rate, the quantity of slab shaped material in the crushed product may increase. Actual results can only be determined by crushing tests, as they will vary with the nature and type of rock being crushed, the method of feed and the material size being fed to the Jaw Crusher.
